Tom has over 8 years' experience advising clients in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, strategic and transaction advice and private treaty transactions.

Principal skills include executing advisory assignments, structuring of debt product and equity packages, execution of credit and documentation processes, undertaking the financial modelling process and coordination of external resources to support transaction execution.

​

Tom’s industry specialisations include infrastructure and natural resources. But has experience across a range of other sectors such as agriculture, healthcare and financial services.

Major Roles have included:

• Mobility ADO in respect of strategic opportunities in the Australian mobility market and the potential acquisition of Ventura Bus Lines

• Mobility ADO in respect of strategic opportunities in the Australian mobility market and the potential acquisition of the Kinetic Group

•  Debt advisory services for Silica Resources Australia Ltd

• Advice in respect of raising equity capital for Fivephusion Pty Ltd

 

Prior to joining Origin in 2023, he worked at Four Winds Strategic Advisory, a corporate advisory firm specialising in cross border private equity transactions, and Transport for NSW (TfNSW) within the capital portfolio management team. At TfNSW, he led the investment assurance reviews for Greater Sydney’s infrastructure projects and worked with project teams to create viable options to address project cost over runs to be presented to the investment committees.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in behavioural science from the University of Notre Dame Australia and a Master of Applied Finance.
